We ate BBQ ribs for dinner last night. Leo said they were like chicken on the cob. We clarified, its more like pig on the cob!
My brother loved, loved corn. And when he was little (maybe a bit older than Leo) my grandma made corn and my brother refused to eat it. When she asked him why and told him he loved corn he said "My mom puts it on the cob for me!"

omg...children are brilliant. that's what i want to be when i grow up.
I think they really are cousins. Malcolm insists that when we say we are eating pork for dinner it is 'porcupine'
